Her breathing technique was taught to her by her father since it was passed through generations in Yuki's family 2. She has no problem to stay out in the cold even if she's not wearing lots of clothes 3. Even though she's habit to the cold, she did like hot plates of food and to sleep under lots of blankets 4. Her father didn't force her to join the Demon Slayer Corps and he thought her the Snow Breathing technique to have her be able to defend herself by her own, though Yuki decided to fight demons in order to be able to protect her family more 5.
